The Murph is a workout honoring the legacy of U.S. Navy SEAL Lt. Michael Murphy, who was killed in Afghanastan on 28 JUN 05.

The Murph Hero Workout was introduced on 18 AUG 05, and has since become embraced as a long-standing tradition to perform the workout on, or for, Memorial Day to honor Lt. Murphy and all who have served their Country.
